MY CHOICE OF TEXT BOOKS FOR III-2

Subjects for 3-2 are different for present 3-2 students and the present 2-2 students. Im giving my opinion based on the present (as in the year 2008) batch in mind. I will give my opinion for upcoming batch at the end.

Bioinformatics : Alam Khan.
Enzyme Engineering : Bailey Ollis
Heat Transfer in Bioprocess : McCabe, Smith and Harriot.
Intrumentation and process control: Its better to follow the notes given by your lecturer.
Immunology : Janis Kubey is a good text book. You can even read The book from Saras Publications on Immunology.
Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials : You will not have any solid text book for this subject. We collected the material from various books and the net.

Computational Molecular Biology : We had tough times with this subject in our 4th year. I dont have an idea about any solid text book for this subject.

Biochemical Reaction engineering II : Octave Levenspiel

Probaility and Statistics : Not much to say from me. Follow your lecturers notes and a text book prescribed by him.

Im Just providing the text books that give you the basics of the subject. they may not cover each and every topic in the syllabus. You may have to search in the internet or other books; mostly i will post them in my blog itself. If you dont get them in my Blog you search in the other alternatives.
