On day two Dravid and Gambhir continued their form and placed India in a comfortable position. Gambhir has scored a majestic 179 and Dravid scored 136. At a time when every one is criticizing it was a great relief for Dravid.

Once the partnership between Dravid and Gmabhir came to an end the middle order batsmen Scahin, Dhoni and Yuvraj went back to the pavilion with low scores while the stylish Hyderabadi batsmen VVS.Lakshman was out for a duck in Flintoff's bowling after staying in the crease for about half an hour.

But the tail has done well. Harbhajan is doing well as a batsmen as well and is turning out to be an allrounder for India. He added a quick 24 in 21 balls. Amit Mishra too has done well adding 23 valuable runs to the scorecard.

Coming to Day 3, it was a grand start for India. Zaheer, in the first over itself has picked up the wicket of Andrew Strauss, who scored consecutive centuries in the two innings of the first test. Picking him early in the day, that too with out a run on England's score card would have definitely made the Indian skipper delighted. Later Ishant sharma joined the party picking Ian Bell; clean bowled.

Peterson then came to England's rescue. Alastair Cook has made a half century and Peterson is on 45 taking the Score to 99 for the loss of two wickets. (99/2). Lets wait and watch how the day ends.
