INDIA AND ENGLAND TO PLAY ASHES LIKE SERIES EVERY 2 YEARS

ECB- England Cricket Board and BCCI - Board of Control for Cricket in India have together decided to play an Ashes like series every 2 years. They have made some other agreemets, like giving ECB a part in the organization of IPL (Indian Premier League) and giving chance for two English county teams to participate in IPL.The two boards have also decided to work togather against the Australian proposal of conduct a test championship series and share the revenue generated equally between all the test playing nations. Generally ECB and BCCI are the two cricketing boards in the world that earn the most from cricketing event. Entering into a sharing agreement as the Aussies have proposed would mean losses to both the boards. SO they have decided to go against this togather.

This is all in the wake of the England Cricket team returning to play the two test match series in India after the Mumbai carnage. The two boards have put aside their differences regarding IPL and have decided to work togather. This mutual co-operation would generate good revenues for both the boards.
