A.R. Rehman becomes the First Indian to win a Golden Globe Award. He won the award for 'Best Original Score' for the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

Slumdog Millionaire has won three more Golden Globe Awards. On the whole it has won 4 Golden Globe Awards. They include:

Best Director for Danny Boyle
Best Drama for the film
Best Screen Play for Simon Beaufoy
Best Original Score for A.R.Rehman
