Windows 7 is the next Operating System (OS) from Microsoft. Windows 7 Beta will be released on this friday. This means the testing of Windows 7 will be done by the users. Members of Microsoft's Technet and MSEN communities will have immediate access to the beta version while general public like u and me will have to download it for trial directly fromMicrosoft. So lets download it and test the product.
Vista is a failure and this made the market share of Microsoft to reduce a bit allowing Apple to gain the share. So making Windows 7 a success is a must for Microsoft.
Some of the new and interesting features i came to know are:
- Booting will be faster
- Touch screen capabilities
- Improved support for multimedia content
- Improved support for networking
Windows 7 may be released in november 2009 or in early 2010.
