In the recent mission to moon ISRO has carried with it many foriegn robots/research devices along with those of India. And we all know that it was a great success. In fact it a landmark in the history of India and ISRO.
I have read in a news paper that ISRO is going to launch 4 foreign satellites. This would elevate the reputation of ISRO in the field of space research to even higher levels. They will be launched before the end of this year.
I should also make a mention here. ISRO had successfully launcehd a foriegn satellite made by its crew from French Guiana Space center 2 weeks ago. This clearly suggests that ISRO is entering into commercial satellite making and launching programmes. This would bring in a lot of revenue to ISRO and it will help a lot in funding its future projects.
