Andhra Pradesh (INDIA) government is planning to encourage Organic farming on a large scale. In the coming 3 years 7411 hectares of land in 13 districts will be brought under organic farming. Government is planning to give subsidy of 1500 Rs per Hectare to farmers having 4 or less than 4 hecares. Srikakulam, Vishakapatnam, Guntur, Prakasham, Cuddapah, Chittor, Kurnool, Medak, Nalgonda, Warangal, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar and Rangareddy Districts were selected for this plan due to marketing and geographical reasons. Government will also provide training to the farmers in the cultivations of various crops/plants.
