Dravid makes a come back with an unbeaten 65(205 ball) at the end of day one today at Mohali, in the final test match between India and England. Many have raised doubts on his form and his place in the batting order. The team management decided not to change his place in the batting order to 5th (as speculated) as it would add even more pressure on him.
Though it took some time for him to initially settle down, later he kept on addind runs to the score card along with Goutham Gambhir to record a century partnership. Its the 73rd century partnership in which Rahul is Involved, and is the most by any Batsmen in World Cricket till date.
On the other hand Gautham Gambhir who is in the best of his from in the year 2008, has scored an unbeaten century (106). The Delhi batsmen is one of the leading run getter in test cricket in the year 2008 along with with Virendar Sehwagh who tops the list above the South African skipper Graeme Smith.
The day ended abruptly due to bad light. The umpires have said that they will try to compensate for the lost time by starting the play earlier tomorrow. Hope light stays good tomorrow so that we can witness a great match of test cricket yet again.
